Plan for Computer Training Center in Sangkosh  -

EPF-NEPAL Computer Training Plan
Project Review:
1. Himalayan Acadmy in KTM (2008): more than 400 students are regularly getting computer education from school's formal schedule. They have qualified teacher and self-funding to maintain and upgrade the facility. It started to run smoothly from 2009.
2. MSI Laptops to Village Schools (2009): teachers are using for making computer data for students’ record, and making certificates from their self-designed format. Those teachers are able to maintain and upgrade those laptops to meet their specific needs.

3. Dhading Campus (2010 for teachers, 2011 for students): They have relocated 8 PCs to higher secondary building for vocational training. The student club has more focus on other social activities than using their computer skills. The school has its own administrative personnel to maintain and use those facilities. They just set up new computer room in Feb 2012. Teachers gave priority for students from business subject, and poor girls for typing training.

Proposal for 2012-2013
We have blueprinted the Skill Training Center in Children’s Village Dhading where the regular training will be applied for our CFO children and vocational training for women.A qualified computer teacher will be hired under CFO-NEPAL, while teaching assistants are required from those students who have been trained by your project.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to be part of our on-goinng project by providing 10PCs in 2012 and 10Pcs for 2013; by providing training for talented students who are currently in class 8-10. One goal is to equip them with good skills for individual development; on the other hand, we could provide them the chances to help their own villagers by using their skills.

Extend Your Ideas to make more people involved:
We are happily to invite your team to stay in Children’s village where you can set up computer training room.

Target Groups:
->Neelakantha HHSx15 pax from Dhading Besi,
->Pashupaiti Higher Secondary School x15 pax
->Panditchaur Lower Secondary School x15 pax (class 8)
->CFO children class 8-9
Total: 60 students.

Set Up Information Club for Sangkos VDC:
After this training, we will issue priority ID card for those qualified students to use our facility on Saturdays and school holidays. Then, we also provide our opening schedule for students (class6-class10) in Sangkos VDC to learn basic computer skills.

Those schools can book our facility for their teaching and learning purpose.
