EPF-Nepal cooperated with Rescue Humanity USA, Rainbow House and Kantipur Dental Hospital to organize a big-scale of health camp comprised with medical professionals from Kantipur Dental Hospital, Teaching Hospital, BP Smriti Hospital and BP Koirala Eyes Center. A team of 55 medical professionals, 10 overseas volunteers, 60 volunteers from EPF-Nepal, Rainbow House and local communities aimed to serve 3000 patients in 3-day medical camp from 27th Oct. to 29th Oct 2010. The camp was located in the Jamahit Higher Secondary School (Ratnapur-8, Damachaur, Syangja) as a center point to serve people comes from Syangja, Tanahun and Palpa Districts.

By the end of day, we hit a new record of 4229 patients marked EPF-NEPAL’s seventh medical service camp since 2005. We could not achieve this result without highly committed volunteers and sound financial support from the Vanetic Foundation, USA and Chase Merrit, USA this year.

The outline of our service will be described in the attachmed file. Six patients were brought to Kathmandu for urgent treatment by doctors’ diagnosis in the camp. They would receive free medical treatment under the government’s national health funding.
