21- 25 Oct 2009 Sixth Health Camp in Thosey of Ramechhap District  -  

EPF Nepal in collaboration with International NGO Rescue Humanity the US and Local NGO Rainbow House Nepal conducted the Health Camp at Thosey, Ramechhap, Nepal from 21-25 October 2009. International and national volunteer Doctors, Dentists, Ophthalmologists, Pharmacists, nurses, Hygienists; assistants had provided the health services. The Health Camp was based on General Medicine, Dental service, Ophthalmology service, Awareness Program and Children Education program. Local Volunteers were deployed for the management of the program. Policemen and local people also had participated actively for the management of the program.

The main personalities for the management of the program were: Mr. Ramesh Prasad Dhamala (Dai) the chairman of EPF Nepal,, Ramesh Prasad Dhamala ( Bhai), coordinator between foreign and Nepali organizations , Daniel Nassie , The team Leader of Rescue Humanities, Chhiring Sherpa the chairman of Rainbow House Nepal and Ravi Bhatta the coordinator of EPF Nepal who had taken the responsibilities to manage overall program. The letters of appreciation to the national and international Volunteers were provided at the closing ceremony of the program. The closing ceremony was chaired by Mr Chhiring Sherpa the Chairman of Rainbow House Nepal. The Program was ended with full of joy including dances, songs, and camp fire. Finally, Mr Ramesh Prasad Dhamala the chairman of EPF Nepal donated NRs 10000 to local club Sital Ganga Youth Club for their great support at the camp and donated 60 chairs to Shree Saradodaya Multiple Campus Thosey, Ramechhap. Moreover, 4 boxes medicines to the Health Post, First aid Medicine for School and club. All together 1036 (650 Females and 386 Males) people got the services during the Health Camp. In dental Service, 600 teeth were extracted. Special thanks goes to Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Local Volunteers, AB Catering Staffs, School and campus Staffs, representatives from different organizations, Thosey VDC, Police Staffs, EPF Volunteers, Rescue Humanity Volunteers, Rainbow House Volunteers, BP Smriti Hospital, National Dental Hospital, BP Koirala Eye Center, Peoples’ Dental College, Kantipur Dental Hospital and so on.
