Semi volunteer teachers training program 2008 conducted dated on 30th and 31st August 2008 with the coordination of EPF Nepal and IWEN Canada. The EPF Nepal had organized the program and IWEN Canada had financed for the training. The first session of the program was inauguration. CDO, DEO, DYSP and many great personalities were invited and attended in the program. There were all together 43 teachers. Michelle was the main trainer of the program. The program was chaired by Mr Ramesh Prasad Dhamala, the chairperson of EPF Nepal.

As far as the teachers training is concerned, the training was based on practical rather than theoretical. The training had focused on three aspects of teaching methods such as Classroom Management, Curriculum and Lesson Planning and Preparation of Educational Materials. The teachers enthusiastically utilized two days training period and got more information. Teachers have to fulfill their tasks within 6 months and supposed to be the completion of the training. After six months the teachers will be provided the training letter according to their task submission.

In this way, the training for semi volunteer teachers training program completed with the financial and technical support of EPF Nepal and IWEN Canada.
